I was talking to you last week about the easiest way to vary the jewelry.
Change the shape.
In particular by varying the molds used.
Whether buying several molds or creating them yourself.
But there is another way to change the shape of your resin rings: sanding.
That's certainly what Karina Cabrera does. I invite you to see his creations rich in colors and original forms. They were successful! Everything is sold.
The quickest way to invent original shapes without using molds is to start from a resin block that you sand and drill with tools such as a drill, sander, ...
But ... if it only requires the purchase of a single mold to make the block of resin, it is not for everyone. If you live like me in an appartment, I think you are also faced with the difficulty of having to create without excessive noise and that means forgetting any electrical equipment.
And it's expensive equipment.
I do it by hand.
Then just imagine your rings from a basic form.
It's magical to see a form spring up little by little.
You can sand using files of different widths or add thickness all around the ring.
The resin sticks very easily on itself.
No need to drill.
No need to go looking for original molds.
You let your hands improvise a new form.
